I'm John Gonzales. Onzog Productions began when I was messing around making a song for a friend and realized how quickly an idea could become music. I turned that toward my years as a police officer — including songs from my retirement talk and Fabric of the Line — into albums like Tales of the Tour and Fabric of the Line — separate projects in a first-responder series. Making those songs has been a way to relive some of that experience, and at times to release it. The catalog also includes tributes, hunting adventures, and lullabies and kids’ songs inspired by my grandson. For me, music is a tool and a resource — something that keeps me creating, and something that helps carry the stories.
